Originally from Honduras, I started showing my work while I was in my early 50's, always intrigued by the passage of time, much like pop art or the graffiti covered walls ln street art, I share my emotions in expressive brushstrokes. I use many different mediums to convey my emotions , mostly acrylics and mixed media, first the surface is build with gels,paper, cut fabrics and found objects, the acrylic paint is then applied with broad impasto brushstrokes thus creating interesting tensions. Pop art and contemporary techniques help me to convey my artistic vision.
Being an artist, inspiration is always around me, I find it in the way the passage of time, much like graffiti covered walls which shows our present, past and future. At the essence of my creativity is the urge to express a moment, a memory or a feeling into a 2D form. A visual stimulus triggers an inner emotion which I express on my paintings.
